About Kirra

Hi my name is Kirra. I am a Mother and Bodyworker with a background in Nursing and Midwifery. Following the birth of my daughter, I had somewhat of a ‘midwife’ crisis. I loved working with women and held a profound appreciation for how amazing our bodies are, especially in pregnancy and birth.

However, I felt that the fragmented medical model of maternity care often overlooked women as the central focus. As a result, I saw many women left without the full support they needed to birth with confidence and strength.

This led me on a path of (continued) learning to increase my skills in bodywork in order to help women regain confidence and reconnect to their unique bodies- designed to birth, heal and hold. Women have an innate strength and I know that when they feel supported and informed they become even more powerful.

I provide personalised, thorough women centred care. I welcome all women throughout the continuum of their lives and I look forward to nurturing you.

When I’m not in the body work space I love to be outside working in my garden, making sourdough bread and spending time with my daughter and our small farmyard of animals.

  • “I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to benefit from Kirra’s experience with spinning babies techniques. Her guidance and knowledge enabled me to encourage my baby to move out of a breech position, allowing me to have a natural birth. I highly recommend Kirra’s services.”

  • My baby was breech & Kirra was recommended by a friend who is a doula. I saw her a couple of times in her beautiful space at her home. She made me feel so comfortable and did some gentle movement on my body to help/hopefully move bub into a better position. Kirra also gave me some things to do at home as well. Unfortunately bub wouldn't move & after an ECV I was booked in for a cesarean birth. Kirra was so supportive in her messages to me, offering her knowledge and support for my ceserian. This made me feel so much better about the process and she helped me to accept the birth I was going to have. She also offered advice on what things I can do for my ceserian to still feel empowered and in control of my birth. I Would highly recommend Kirra to anyone. Such a beautiful human.

  • ‘Working with Kirra was a great way to prepare for the birth of my baby, she is so knowledgeable and supportive. I came away feeling stronger in my body and mind, and much more relaxed about the birthing experience.’

  • “Kirra was an incredible support throughout my labour and postpartum recovery. During my labour I saw Kirra regularly for antenatal care. Her deep knowledge of spinning babies techniques and body balancing made a profound difference in my experience, helping me navigate labour with greater ease and confidence. As both a nurse and midwife, her expertise was so reassuring, but what stood out most was her genuine, unwavering presence. She listened with care, offered guidance without judgment, and gave so generously of her time and skill. Kirra also supported me at the birth of my baby and her energy was powerfully reassuring. Even after the birth, Kirra continued to support me with postpartum C-section scar work, helping my recovery in ways I hadn’t even realized I needed. I am beyond grateful for her kindness, wisdom, and the comfort she provided during such a transformative time.”

  • “Kirra helped me to keep moving through my pregnancy when pelvic pain was almost constant. She also helped me to prepare for the most beautiful and empowered birth despite 40 hours of labour. Her work is a testament to her deep knowledge of the human body. Every birthing person should explore body work with Kirra!”
